Awareness of 190 makes sense as it knows how to present itself as admirable, even maintaining such an appearance in the face of obvious contradictions. However, 190 does not by itself explain bringing war to Eastern Europe. We must also consider intention and the low-level capabilities of death and destruction he employs.
