46 And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord, 47 And my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour. 48 For he has regarded the meekness of his handmaid; for behold, from henceforth, all generations shall envy me. 49 For he who is mighty has done great things to me; holy is his name. 50 And his mercy is for centuries and generations, upon those who fear him. 51 He has brought victory with his arm; he has scattered the proud in the imagination of their heart. 52 He has put down the mighty from their seats, and he has lifted up the meek. 53 He has filled the hungry with good things; and dismissed the rich empty. 54 He has helped his servant Israel, and has remembered his mercy, 55 Just as he spoke with our forefathers, with Abraham, and with his seed for ever.
