level: mantras and affirmations keep the ego busy so the Higher Self can shine through

Priority request: I am wondering if mantras and affirmations are a way to lessen resistance to enlightenment by getting the ego aligned with the goals of the Higher Self.

Amitabha mantras

Request: The primary mantra of Pure Land Buddhism… The actual words are “Namo Amida Butsu” (Japanese), “Namo Omito Fo” (Chinese), “Namo Adida Phat” (Vietnamese), “Om Ami Dewa Hrih” (Tibetan), or a variant may be used with the buddha’s Sanskrit name, Amitabha, “Om Amitabha Hum,” “Amitabhaya” etc.

mantra: may all be free of the weight of this world

Also calibrated: "May all be free of the root of suffering."

mantra: not my problem, spiritually speaking

Whereas "not my problem" sounds on its face potentially dismissive of intrinsic responsibility, in a spiritual context it is profoundly true. God is responsible, and our involvement with perceptual problems by resistance or attraction of belief is essentially a waste of time.

mantra: "This is the spiritual ego"

Priority request: Whenever misery, hopelessness, stress or a melancholic view of life comes upon somebody, what is the value in repeating this statement inside?

prayer to Archangel Saint Michael

Request: Helpful against onis? (Oni is a Japanese word that means "demon." Brian uses it to refer to lower astrals or asuric forces acting upon an individual's aura).

mantra: I am personally special in God's eyes

A mantra to feel the Love of God.

mantra: destroy me, for there is nothing to destroy

With "me" referring to the ego, obviously.

mantra: there are no forbidden options

Priority request. At cal. 40, forbiddenness is not in the nature of God.

mantra: the past is boring

Because.. we say it to each other a lot, sometimes, and it resonates 💖☺️.

"no pain, no gain"

An exercise motto meaning that pain and stress are required to achieve excellence.

"I don’t want anything to do with this field"

Request: A way to shake off negative energy?

mantra: I am everyone's friend

Request: Apparently said frequently by Saint Catherine of Siena.

mantra: this is the exact situation I need and have asked for

Request: This is something that I remind myself whenever I catch myself wishing that the conditions of the world were different.

prayer: "Thank you for the world so sweet...

…Thank you for the food we eat. Thank you for the birds that sing. Thank you God for everything."
