US government treatment of Ashli Babbitt

The only person shot in the events at the Capitol January 6th was unarmed Ashil Babbitt. The officer who killed her fled the scene and would not be identified for months. Other officers did not administer aid as she bled to death. The investigation into the officers' conduct did not find wrongdoing.
