Request: I just watched a Hawkins lecture where he mentioned at some point we must surrender all thinkingness to God. However, sometimes daydreaming gives me hope and motivation.
mom guilt
Request: a name given to the feelings of guilt and shame some women feel when they don’t live up to their own or others’ expectations in their role as a parent. It’s like an internal dialogue that tells you you’re failing as a caregiver.
"what goes around comes around"
Used to say that if someone treats other people badly he or she will eventually be treated badly by someone else -- merriam-webster.
"Father, thou canst heal thy Son"
A prayer of awareness and supplication that God the Father heals the energy of negativity arising in Creation.
“Every day is judgement day”
An intellectual understanding of karma and its immediacy, though not an equivalent expression for absolute cosmic justice, which is not subject to time periods, i.e. days.
the witness (spirituality)
Request: A term used by Doc in his lectures.
Dark side of the Moon (album)
Request. Album by Pink Floyd.
level: all emotional traumas are resolved
By request.
mental illness
Request: Wondering whether there is a field as a central attractor pattern to the umbrella term mental illness. Thank you!
self-evident
"evident without proof or reasoning" -- merriam-webster.
statement: worrying is forcing
Priority request: …when we worry about something we get a surge of energy that shouts "DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS". So then force and ego control are likely to happen instead of surrender/order. I found recontextualizing worry as synonymous with force in this way made it easier to let go of.
light-bulb moment
A moment of sudden inspiration, revelation, or recognition -- request.
integrity is keeping your word
"We can honour our word in one of two ways: first, by keeping our word, and on time as promised; or second, as soon as we know that we won’t keep our word, we inform all parties involved and clean up any mess that we’ve caused in their lives."
all answers to "why" are inherently wrong
“We have already seen that there is in fact no 'why' about anything, and in fact you cannot answer any 'why' and still be in reality" -- I: Reality & Subjectivity.
